Karaoke gaga with Cherry and the 3nity

After full of week of vocal practice and brainstorming for their upcoming gigs, Cherry and the rest of the Ilonggo 3nity such as Sheila Barrios and Reyn Callao with the rslphoenix music team took a break. This time, they head on for a karaoke gaga night to the city in the evening of July 20. Their first stop is Marina Bar and Restaurant in the partyphille central of Iloilo, Diversion Road where the nightlife strip Smallville is located nearby. They met with the band called “Nytshift” under Totong Villaruz bands at Marina that will make their first group mini-concert gig on August 13 possible. The show is earlier entitled “Please Don’t Stop The Music 2010” live at Bo.Obrero Public Plaza as the Ilonggo 3nity’s first gig together. Plans and full production of the pop event is still in planning stage along with their rehearsals.
After an hour of watching the band played their mainstream repertoire that entertains the ballroom dancing crowed (it was the birthday party of the restaurant owner), the group headed to a nearby karaoke resto. The swinging nightlife at Smallville did not attract the group since their vocal chords are clamouring for some singing practice (sooo excited for their next month event, I should say). For the next, three to four hours, Reyn, Sheila and Cherry Callao, the next solo Ilongga singer to be introduced by rslphoenix music later this July sang their heart out to their favourite songs at the Karaoke. Reyn conquers the rock ballad pieces like Faithfully, Too Much Love will Kill You, Carrie, etc. Sheila and Cherry sang ballad favourites like I Love You Goodbye, All This Time and a lot more. What can you expect from a group of young vocalists but impressive drama over karaoke gaga.
Well, it was a night to remember as they prepare for their first few gigs to come. We hope that the best is yet to come for Ilonggo 3nity and rslphoenix music. Many thanks to Angelbert and Tad Abadiano for the creative support of the upcoming event.

It’s now or never ... (soon)
