pop performance

Cherry's charm @ Please Don’t Stop the Music 2010

“Please Don’t Stop the Music 2010,” the first ever mini-concert gig of Ilonggo 3nity featuring Sheila Barrios, Reyn Callao and Cherry Callao at Bo. Obrero Plaza last August 13, 2010 is a perfect test for their stage bonding as a vocal pop group for the first time. Organized by rslphoenix music, DreamTeam Production and SOKO, the event featured these three rising Ilonggo singers belting out with English pop songs from Justin Beiber, Kat De Luna, The Journey, Jay Sean, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and yes, more Lady Gaga tunes. From group performance opening number “I Got a Feeling” to group finale “Baby” by Justin Beiber, the three newbie singers are shedding their pop class style---voice, moves and appeal to the next level.

Reyn captured the hearts of the crowd with The Journey’s “Faithfully” and Jay Sean’s “Do You Remember.” Sheila belted out with great melody and sprinkled some rap verses with Lady Gaga’s hits “Pokerface” and “Just Dance.” Cherry, the dance floor girl mesmerized everyone with her dynamic performance of “Paparazzi” and Kat de Luna’s “Wine Up.” The party started 8PM and ended at 11:30PM with the crowd satisfied of their fiery presence.

Guest performers of the event includes lip-sing Ilonggo comedians Jessa and PhCare with special intermission rap performance by All Out Kingz, the next Ilonggo rap group sensation that include Kudafie, Chaiz, Stan and Ms. JT. The event is a pre-finale for Bo. Obrero weeklong fiesta celebration.
